You’ve just concluded a major event or party, and now comes the boring part – writing heaps of ‘thank you’ notes. It is daunting to be faced with a pile of blank cards and a long list of people’s names. But writing thank you notes is a breeze if you keep certain templates in mind.
Here are some templates to help you out:
– For weddings: ‘____________’ (insert names of bride and groom) are grateful that you made our wedding day special for us. Our day was made more special because you were there to share it with us. We’re happy you could make it and share our precious moments.’
– For private parties (writing to thank the host for inviting you): ‘Thank you for inviting me to your party. It was a wonderful party and I was honoured to receive your invitation.’
– For office parties (writing to thank a person for coming): ‘Dear _____ (insert person’s name), I thank you for attending the party. We at the office were honoured that you accepted our invitation. We are happy to be associated with prized employees like you.”
